Bus by Daniela Gallego

The french writer Anaïs Nin once said:  “We travel, some of us forever, to seek other states, other lives, other souls.” This artwork transmits the beauty of a journey; there is something very intimate in the perspective inside the bus, the rain falling outside, the comfort of the inside, the way people are together, and the color of the flowers. It narrates the feeling of a journey within ourselves.

Size: LARGE  14 x 18 inches (35,5 x 45,7 cm.) 12 x 16 inches (30,3 x 40,5 cm.)( Giclée print of an original in graphite and digital color. This limited edition print is printed on artist-quality pigment- and acid-free cotton paper and comes unframed. Each print in this series of 25, comes numbered and signed by the artist with the date of printing. While all prints come unframed, they all fit standard frame sizes and standard pre-cut mat sizes (read: you won’t ever need to pay for pricey custom framing).

About the artist:

Daniela Gallego is a Colombian born illustrator. She graduated in Graphic Design in Bogota and obtained a degree in Illustration in Barcelona, Spain. She has participated in collective exhibitions in Colombia and Spain. Daniela was selected as finalist for several awards, such as: Premio Tragaluz, 2013, Medellín. Salon visual Bacanika, “Salon del Ocio y la Fantasía” (SOFA). She has also published children’s books illustrations. Daniela has been looking for some years a tangible way to share her point of view, experimenting with various techniques including paper, pencils and colors. Her work is whimsical and magic, with a warm color palette that will brighten up your home with delight.
